My Darkness and Your Light

My heart is full of darkness,
A den of devils who not only live there,
But feed on my soul and massacre my emotions with flare
They often force me to act as per their will,
If my soul denies, they threaten to kill,
At nights, they drag me and attempt to convert into one of them,
In mornings, they seek to own my heart and do the whelm!

I fight with them everywhere and every day,
With all my power to win back my bay,
With the help of stars and the moon,
I hold my soul like oil in spoon,
There are times when I am a warrior,
And there are times when I succumb to my inferior,
With my small irrational brain tool,
Sometimes I win but at often, I surrender like a fool!

In this chaos of war and darkness,
You appeared to me like a splash of light,
A light, which can make world around me bright,
A light which can make angels rise,
A light which will make me smart and wise,
A light which will lead this war to demise!

Oh my light, Come closer to me,
Enter my darkness, fill it with your love for me,
Tell those devils “you are always there with me”,
Announce your verdict that they can never win over me,
You are eternal, I surrender to you,
Hold my heart, make it a part of you,
I am tired and want to heave,
Tell this darkness to now just leave!

While living in a city, I often escaped to the mountains to keep a balance within me. These short visits to the Himalayas and a journey of 100 days in Himachal brought me closer to nature and I started listening to the whispers of nature. This page is about converting those whispers to words and carry nature's message for all. I mostly travel solo but sometimes organise trekking camps for people who want to reach closer to nature. Join me for these trips and explore the unexplored.
